Introducing the Inaugural IRCS Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026!

We are proud to announce our first three inductees:

Amy Martin ’01
A four-sport student-athlete who earned All-State recognition, was named Gatorade High School Athlete of the Year and joined the 1,000-point club in basketball. Amy continued her career on a basketball scholarship at Palm Beach Atlantic University and has since returned to serve IRCS Athletics as a coach.

Vern Kinsey
A dedicated coach and voice of the Eagles for 35 years, Vern has served across numerous IRCS athletic programs. His track and field teams captured 16 district championships, made 17 consecutive state appearances and produced 197 All-State medalists.

Gabe McMillen ’03
A standout basketball player who graduated with 2,849 varsity points—a school record and, at the time, the highest total in Pinellas County history. Gabe led the Eagles to district and regional championships before earning a full Division I scholarship to Stetson University and later playing professionally in Spain.

Friday, October 9 — Halftime recognition during the Homecoming Football game against Sarasota Christian; kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
