Girls Soccer Captures Back-to-Back District Championships with Thrilling Comeback
The Eagles are district champions once again.
Our Girls Soccer team secured back-to-back district championships with an impressive 4–2 comeback victory over Northside Christian, showcasing resilience, poise, and championship grit.
After trailing 2–0 early in the second half, the Eagles refused to panic. Instead, they responded with energy and confidence. Elise Miles ignited the comeback with a crucial header goal that shifted the momentum and put the Eagles on the board.
From there, Victori Benjamin took over, delivering a spectacular performance by scoring a hat trick to lead the Eagles past Northside Christian and seal the district title. Her offensive spark and finishing ability proved to be the difference in the match.
The victory marks another milestone season for the program and reflects the team’s growth, unity, and determination in pressure moments.
With the district championship secured, the Eagles now turn their attention to postseason play. The team will host a Regional Quarterfinal match on Monday, February 2nd, at 7:00 PM, and looks forward to competing in front of a home crowd.
Come out and support the Eagles as they continue their playoff run!
