The Indian Rocks Christian girls cross country team captured the FHSAA District 5 Championship, securing the program’s first district title since 2012. The Eagles delivered an outstanding team performance, placing four runners inside the top 15 to comfortably claim the crown.

Addie Lubke led the way with a strong 3rd-place finish, followed closely by Sasha Middleton in 5th. Sage Bonham stepped up with a 10th-place performance, and Emma Tress rounded out the scoring pack in 15th, helping solidify the district championship for IRCS.

Congratulations to Coach Bobby and Cooper LaBrant for guiding the girls throughout the season and preparing them for this championship moment.

With the momentum of a historic win, the girls will compete in the Regional Meet next Thursday at Holloway Park. The team looks poised and motivated as they continue their postseason run.
