Athlete of the Week: David Bennett

Indian Rocks Christian junior swimmer David Bennett has been making waves in the pool. This past week, David captured first place in the 200 IM and finished second in the 100 Free against Northside. With his strong performances, he continues to push toward two big goals this season: breaking the school record in the 100 Free and qualifying for the FHSAA State Championships.

Head Coach Nick Radford shared high praise for David’s dedication and character:

“David is a Christ-centered, accountable leader who exemplifies GRIT and humility as both a student and dedicated swimmer. Driven to attain his goals, he attends practice daily with a clear, disciplined vision of qualifying for the state championship and breaking school records in the 50 and 100 freestyle—all while managing a demanding academic schedule. We admire his pursuit of achievement and legacy! Congratulations, David!”
